Obituaries
The Way They Should Be
It is my belief that obituaries should, besides being informative, attempt to capture the essence of the individual being discussed, unfortunately this is often not the case. An example of this being the obituary of one Clifton Hillegass, the creator of CliffsNotes, whose obituary was overtly protracted and contained too much minutiae, completely disregarding Mr. Hillegass’ life-long obsession to reducing material to bullet points.
I have therefore undertaken the task of re-writing obituaries for Mr. Hillegass and others who have shuffled off this mortal coil, but did not receive a proper and fitting biographical send-off.
